SAIS Global Conference on Women in the Boardroom 

A Leadership Roundtable hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation at its headquarters and seated dinner hosted by the Australian Embassy will take place on Monday, September 15, 2014.  Both the Roundtable and seated dinner are by invitation only.  The Public Plenary Session is open to the public. Please note that the location of the Public Plenary Session has been changed to the headquarters of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

The 2014 SAIS Global Conference on Women in the Boardroom will bring together CEOs and board chairs of publicly traded companies, leaders of business organizations that have championed boardroom diversity, stock exchange executives, government officials, institutional investors, search firm executives, academics and international experts, to assess progress in the United States and abroad on achieving gender balance on corporate boards, and to recommend practical, business-led initiatives to accelerate the selection of qualified women for board service.

The full day Public Plenary Session will feature keynote remarks, interviews with CEOs and board chairs, and panel discussions. The session will highlight the role that institutional investors, stock exchanges, board nominating committees, and government can play to advance gender diversity in the boardroom.
